As a Physical Performance Coach in our youth department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring evidence-based athletic development programs for our U16- and U19-team. You will work in close collaboration with fellow physical performance staff, coaching staff and medical staff to ensure the players’ physical preparation aligns with their stage of development and long-term performance goals.

Brøndby IF Women is undergoing a period of rapid growth, having become the first professional women's football team in Denmark as of December 2024. As part of our continued structural and organizational development, we are seeking a qualified Physical Performance Specialist to lead and oversee the athletic development of our youth players.

Tasks:

  • Responsible for delivering strength and conditioning programs for players on the youth teams, with primary operational tasks on the U16- and U19-team.
  • Refers to the head of coaching and the head of performance.
  • Responsible for conducting regular movement and capacity screenings in accordance with practices on the senior first team.
  • Monitoring and analyzing external (on-field tracking) and internal workloads (questionnaires) for the U19-squad, and delivering essential insights to relevant coaches.
  • Responsible for delivering and ensuring on-field practices corresponds with pre-set benchmarks.
  • Assisting the Head of Performance in prioritized activities around the Women’s First Team.
  • Regular meetings with the other physical performance staff for dynamic assessment of the players athletic development.
  • Planning and delivering on-field exercises aiming to improve player development.

Musts:

  • Bachelor of Science in Health and Sports Science.

Preferred (not required):

  • Experience with football environment.
  • Experience in working with sports technology (external and/or internal workload wearables).
