We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Data Engineer to join our dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in optimizing player performance and driving strategic decision-making through innovative data-driven solutions.

Role Description
As a Full-Stack Data Engineer at Brøndby IF's Football Data Analytics Unit, you will be deeply involved in every aspect of our operations.

From processing and manipulating data to designing and implementing data pipelines, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of information critical to our success.

Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining interactive Streamlit applications, presenting complex data insights in a user-friendly manner to various stakeholders within the organization.

The role is based in Brøndby Stadium. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data processing pipelines and workflows.
• Utilize your expertise in SQL and Python to process, analyze, and visualize football data, generating actionable insights to drive decision-making.
• Develop and maintain interactive Streamlit applications to present data insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure and analytical capabilities, leveraging emerging technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential.
• Solid understanding of data processing techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and visualization.
• Experience with developing and deploying data pipelines using tools such as Prefect or similar.
• Strong understanding of professional software development processes, including DevOps methodologies such as Git, Branching Workflows, CI/CD, and automated testing.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience developing Streamlit apps is advantageous.
• Passion for football and a solid understanding of the sport.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
