03.11.2021 13:35
Brøndby IF would like to give a warm welcome to all the 1,400 Rangers FC fans who have been allocated a ticket to the away section at Brøndby Stadium. We look forward seeing you at the match and to make your visit as smooth as possible, we have gathered all relevant information below.
Transport to/from Brøndby Stadium
A designated train departing from Copenhagen Central Station will bring Rangers FC fans with a valid ticket to the match to Brøndby free of charge. After arriving at the local train station in Brøndby the Rangers FC fans will be guided by the police directly to the away section at Brøndby Stadium. The exact departure time for the train will be communicated tomorrow by Copenhagen Vestegnens Police on Twitter (@VestegnsPoliti). After the match, Rangers FC fans will be guided by the police back to Copenhagen on the same train.
We encourage all Rangers FC fans with a valid ticket to the away section to use these designated trains instead of using private cars and busses as there is no designated parking area for the away team fans.
Arrival at the stadium
The area north of Brøndby Stadium where the away section is placed is reserved for Rangers FC fans. It is not allowed for Rangers FC fans to be in any other area of the stadium, just as it is not allowed for Brøndby IF fans to be in the area north of Brøndby Stadium.
At the entrance, a check of your ticket and a body search will be conducted by security personnel. It is not allowed to bring large bags into Brøndby Stadium.
Rangers FC fans without valid tickets to the away section will be refused entry to Brøndby Stadium. Due to the tight security measures the police will place Rangers FC fans without valid tickets in a temporary holding area north of the stadium and place them on a train back to Copenhagen at some point during the evening.
Inside the stadium
The gates to Brøndby Stadium as well as the away section opens at 16.45. There is free seating in the away section which is divided into a lower and upper section.
The stalls at Brøndby Stadium will have a selection of food and non-alcoholic beverages only for sale and payment can be made with VISA and Mastercard or Danish cash.
Rangers FC fans without valid tickets for the away section
If you have traveled to Denmark without a valid ticket to the away section, we strongly recommend that you do not travel to Brøndby Stadium but stay in Copenhagen and watch the match at one of the many great pubs in Copenhagen. It is not possible to buy tickets for the match at Brøndby Stadium at any time, so fans (neither Brøndby IF or Rangers FC fans) can not show up at the stadium and buy a ticket for the match.
Persons with any affiliation with the away team trying to get access to any of the home team sections of Brøndby Stadium will be rejected. Due to the tight security measures the police will place Rangers FC fans without valid tickets for the away section in a temporary holding area north of the stadium and place them on a train back to Copenhagen at some point during the evening.
